Lab-based testing requires the specimen be sent to be tested at a laboratory. A&D has partnered with various HHS/ SAMHSA/ CLIA/ CAP certified laboratories to ensure high quality service. Turnaround time varies from 1-7 business days. Specimens that undergo confirmation testing do experience a longer turnaround time. All specimens sent to labs for testing do hold up in court – however, some county and state laws differ, and in some cases will accept rapid test results. A&D has trained collectors for various types of specimen collections: urine, breath, saliva, hair, and nail. All DOT & TDLR drug tests are sent to laboratories and the MRO automatically. A&D Tests also offers DNA testing for information use or legal use. DNA results are available within 2 - 4 business days.
