TDLR SERVICES

A&D Tests has been a collection site for TDLR testing for many years. In 2023 we were added to the TDLR Approved Consortium List. We are excited to provide this new service after year of experience as a C/TPA for DOT companies for over 10 years.

The Texas Occupational Code chapters 2308 and 2303 require tow truck operators be a member of a random drug testing program. Random programs are similar to DOT’s FMCSA drug and alcohol testing program.

The testing requirements for the TDLR required drug testing are as follows:

  • Pre-employment: All applicants who have received a conditional offer of employment must take a drug test before receiving a final offer of employment.

  • Annual: All employees must complete at least one scheduled drug test every 12 months, beginning with the date of their initial license or renewal.

  • Random Testing: In addition to annual testing, employees are subject to random urine drug testing. At least 25 percent of the total number of employees must be tested at random every year.
